Professional Writer and Entrepreneur
About Kent Gruetzmacher
I have always been a believer that the sum of one’s life experiences should be utilized in a successful career path. I’ve been lucky enough to realize this goal as a professional writer and entrepreneur.
My experience with writing began largely with my college education. Most notable is my acquisition of a Master’s Degree in the Humanities from Sacramento State University in 2016. In acquiring an MA Degree, my writing matured exponentially and I continued to sharpen my talents for critical thinking. I graduated from CSUS with a 3.80 GPA (High Honors) and was commended by my professors for my writing ability. Also, many of my professors recommended that I become a professional writer.
In 2016, I founded my first business with the recruiting service Mac & Fulton Talent Partners. In starting M&F Talent, I learned first-hand to overcome many of the challenges of business ownership. I also developed a plethora of valuable skills in project management, digital marketing, and operations. This real-world experience has been invaluable in shaping my approach to KCG Content.
My marketing experience comes from my personal experiences as an entrepreneur, as well as from professional training. In the fall of 2020, I acquired a Digital Marketing Fundamentals certificate from DePaul University, as well as Google. I’ve complimented these certificate programs by training with digital marketing tools such as SEMRush, HubSpot, Google Ads, and Google Analytics.
A majority of my personal time is dedicated to outdoor pursuits. To this end, as a proud resident of Colorado, I spend a good deal of time hiking, backpacking, climbing, skiing, and trail running throughout the Rocky Mountains. As my outdoor experiences continue to evolve and expand, so has my interest in writing in the outdoor space.
I feel that every challenge in life presents an opportunity for growth and advancement. Similarly, problem-solving gives us the chance to follow creative paths of self-discovery. For me, these paths have led deep into the forests and mountains, as well as the heights of the modern business world. I’m excited to share this journey with clients, friends, and colleagues.
